Establishment Date: The Faculty of Nursing, Helwan University was established by Presidential Decree No. 267 of 2006, Ministerial Decree No. 216 dated 1/2/2007, approval of the Helwan University Council dated 26/11/2006, and approval of the Nursing Sector Committee dated 6/9/2006. Date of Start of Study: Academic Year 2007-2008 Duration of Study: 5 years
.Accredited in June 2023 by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.

The faculty of nursing, Helwan university supports the production and investment of knowledge toward competency-based sustainable development in field of nursing by introducing developed educational programs that keep pace with quality standards to prepare scientifically, and professionally qualified graduate who meets the requirements of the local and regional labor market and able to prepare scientific research in the field, and supports graduate competitiveness with commitment to professional ethic.
