In a continued effort to boost community health awareness, Helwan University's Faculty of Nursing, through its Specialized Program students, recently organized a comprehensive nursing awareness campaign focused on chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. The primary goal of these initiatives is to provide vital health education to both university students and staff.
These impactful awareness days took place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and Thursday, April 10, 2025, right here on the university campus.
The campaign was conducted under the distinguished patronage of Prof. Dr. Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, and Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Srougi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was further led by Prof. Dr. Safaa Salah Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and expertly supervised by Prof. Dr. Zeinab Hussein Ali, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, alongside Assistant Prof. Dr. Amani Mohamed Saad, Head of the Community Health Nursing Department, and Dr. Ulfat Maher Tawfik, Lecturer in the Community Health Nursing Department.
