Under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, and Prof. Dr. Emad Aboul Dahab, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Safaa Salah Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Helwan University, and Prof. Dr. Afaf Salah Abdel Mohsen, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Hassan Mohamady, Head of the Department of Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing and Conference Chair, the Ninth Annual Scientific Conference of the Department of Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing was successfully held.
The conference, titled "Multidisciplinary Insights into Women's Health," took place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Dr. Aisha Awad Hall at the Faculty. The event witnessed the participation of an elite group of professors and experts from various related disciplines concerning women's health, reflecting the Faculty's commitment to achieving integration among medical, nursing, and social specialties to advance the health of Egyptian women.
The conference agenda included discussions on the latest developments in reproductive health, chronic diseases in women, mental health, nutrition, and the role of artificial intelligence in supporting women's health. This aligns with global trends towards comprehensive and evidence-based healthcare.
