The student must be fully dedicated to studying at the Faculty.
English must be one of the languages the student has studied.
Successfully pass the unified aptitude/admission tests according to the rules and regulations set by the Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The student must be free from physical or mental disabilities, chronic diseases, or infectious diseases, and there must be a proportionate balance between the student's height and weight.
10% of new students admitted through General Secondary School must have equivalent certificates. The same general admission conditions apply, in accordance with the rules set by the Supreme Council of Universities.
Applications for admission to the Faculty are accepted based on the numbers determined by the Faculty (20% of the total number of students in the second level at the Faculty).
Applicants must not have completed their 6-month internship ( امتياز) period or been assigned to work by the Ministry of Health.
Applicants must successfully pass the unified aptitude tests mandated by the Nursing Sector Committee.
Applicants must submit a certificate of good conduct and behavior.
Students must submit their complete file with the following documents to the Department of Education and Student Affairs:

Original General Secondary School Certificate
Medical Examination Form
6 Personal Photos
Proof of Tuition Fee Payment
Students who obtained their General Secondary School certificate in previous years are accepted, making up 10% of the new General Secondary School student intake. Any number exceeding this percentage will be enrolled in the Faculty's special programs.
Up to 5% of students accepted through the General Secondary School intake may transfer from higher levels at equivalent faculties. This is contingent on them achieving 80% in the English language and meeting the same conditions set by the Nursing Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The Faculty will not accept transfer applications from any student who has failed courses or is carrying over subjects.
The Faculty will not accept the transfer of any student whose former faculty's regulations do not align with the regulations of the Faculty of Nursing, Helwan University.
The Faculty accepts all international students from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Studies are conducted under the system of educational units (courses) rather than academic years. The internal regulations specify the educational units and their distribution across different academic levels.
To obtain a Bachelor of Nursing degree under the credit hour system, the student must successfully complete all registered courses according to the program's regulations.
Instruction is provided in both English and Arabic, in accordance with the requirements of each course.
The University Council, upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Nursing Council, awards the Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (B.N.Sc.) degree under the credit hour system. This degree is granted once the student has fulfilled all requirements for its attainment, as specified by the Faculty's internal regulations, and has successfully completed the mandatory internship period
