The Faculty of Nursing, Helwan University announced the acceptance of a new batch of students applying to study in the intensive nursing program, for students who have a first university degree, preceded by a general secondary school in science, under the auspices of Dr. Mamdouh Mahdy, Acting President of the University and the leadership of Dr. Safaa Salah, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.

Dr. Safaa Salah, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Helwan University, stated that the program qualifies its students to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences from the second university degree after passing the program period.

She added that the intensive nursing program aims to meet the community’s need for qualified nurses who contribute to solving the problem of a shortage of nursing numbers, and to provide new professional paths to achieve community development, and to provide solutions to the problem of unemployment by creating professional paths based on various sciences, helping graduates of other educational systems to obtain They obtained an academic degree in nursing and changed their professional path, strengthening the links between the various sciences and nursing science, which helped in creating inter-sciences that achieve development in society, developing the nursing profession by preparing cadres with different scientific backgrounds.
